The Project
tentaslint was designed out of necessity in the urgent care medical field. in most situations there is a need for solutions for quick and efficient evacuation and treatment while providing care for different people.
using the electroactive polymer technology tentasplint allows the users to apply life saving crucial treatment in rough medical situations.
The Process
this industrial design process is a result of research into a variety of fixation devices. studying the most efficient way to help a first responder evacuate a patient with minimal movement of injured limbs while maintaining maximum speed.
the electroactive polymer technology, that hardens with an electric current is the key for the project functionality and is what gives tentasplit its abilities.
